Southeastern Hackney Horse Association 

We are a nine state (Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia) Regional Affiliate of the American Hackney Horse Society. As such we administer the policies of AHHS as well as operate independent programs exclusively for our regional members.
 

We are excited to introduce you to the “Wonderful World of Hackney Ponies and Horses!”

Our website provides online forms to: become a member; enroll your Hackney(s) in our programs; meet our Board of Directors as well as basic rules for competing with your Hackney(s).
SHHA members can compete for Incentive Fund monies at the annual designated shows as well as compete for a Regional Champion title at the 2024 Blue Ridge Classic Horse Show in Asheville, NC.
 

SHHA offers High Point End of the Year ribbons and trophies at our annual Awards Banquet held on the last Saturday of February in Burlington, NC. We invite you all to attend and enjoy meeting other Hackney enthusiasts from our region. Our major fundraising live auction will be entertaining and our speaker at the Annual Meeting held prior to the banquet will be both entertaining and informative. The Q&A gives everyone a voice in SHHA.
