Southeastern Hackney Association!
Welcome to the “Wonderful World” of the American Hackney Pony! SHHA promotes the activities of our versatile breed and encourages our members to enjoy their ponies at the horse shows in our region: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.
Members compete for end of the year awards, Regional Championship classes and Extra Incentive Fund monies at specific regional shows. We hope you will participate in one or all of our activities and reach out to the Board of Directors to volunteer, make suggestions and give us feedback on what concerns you.
As you navigate our website, take advantage of our on line payment options for memberships, programs, banquet and sale items which promote our Hackney Ponies. Our annual meeting and banquet in February concludes our year with a fun social event where high point ponies are recognized, auction items are available to purchase and fellow Hackney owners get acquainted. We hope to see you there and at the many horse shows in our region in 2023.
